The Cob

6th August 2004

This is a notorious queueing spot for cars because of the town's road junction rather than the terminus of the Rheilffordd Ffestiniog, which connects the line from Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth with the line from Llandudno. The Cob prouced control to the river outlet and facilitated Porthmadog becoming a harbour.
